In this video, expert fishkeeper Oliver Lucanus demonstrates how to create a very realistic aquarium background! First, it’s important to select the region of the world you want the background to look like. Then, using computer programs and a picture of the habitat, identify the primary colors from this body of water. You can then buy paint that matches these colors and create a gradient fade on a piece of MDF or similar material. Once the background is installed, it should look very realistic and provide a great environment for your fish!
