• Sebae Clownfish

The Captive-Bred True Sebae Clownfish, also known as Seba's Anemonefish, is black with wide white stripes and an orange head. The anal fin is yellow, and it has a white to yellow tail. The true Sebae differs from the Sebae Clownfish in the colour of the main body being black instead of brown. The True Sebae, Misbar, true to its name is Misbarred.

A 30 gallon or larger aquarium is desirable as is a host anemone such as Bubbletip Sea Anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor). Captive-Bred True Sebae Clownfish are very hardy and durable fish making them a perfect addition for the novice or seasoned aquarist. The Captive-Bred True Sebae Clownfish is a good candidate for a reef aquarium. If introduced to the aquarium at the same time, many varieties of captive-bred clowns can be maintained together in the aquarium.

The recommended water temperature when keeping Black Tomato Clownfish is 72-80° F (22-27° C), the pH-value should be kept in the 8.1-8.4 interval, and the specific gravity should be 1.020-1.025. A carbonate hardness of 8 - 12° dKH is ideal.
